Butler & Stag estate agents based in Theydon Bois, continued its support for Lambourne Primary School by promoting the School's Christmas Fair and running the annual Christmas drawing competition.Held within the school it asked pupils to illustrate what Christmas means to them. The winning design is featured on Butler & Stag's special festive boards outside houses in the local area.The winner was 4-year-old Dylan Sharpe from the Reception class. His winning design showed ???? He said "I like drawing and I like Christmas so the competition was easy. I am glad I won and got a new drawing set as well."The school received a donation from Butler & Stag for each board erected and a contribution to the programme for the School's Christmas Fair.Dylan's prize was to see his winning design displayed on the boards plus a brand-new art and colouring set, presented last week by Butler & Stag's Neil Leahy accompanied by Head Teacher Sarah Noden.She said "We are so grateful to Butler and Stag for supporting our village school and our pupils loved the competition. Schools are always looking for ways to raise additional funds and inspire their pupils so continued support like this is much appreciated."Neil Leahy, MD, Butler & Stag said "There were over 100 designs to choose from and each member of staff selected their best three. We chose Dylan's picture as the colouring and festive message was clear. Feedback has been great with many compliments about the idea and how striking the boards look."Supporting local youth is a feature in the Butler & Stag calendar. Earlier this year they supported the Theydon Bois Donkey Derby and took part in the charity bike ride, London to Brighton, raising £5,000 for Haven House Children's Hospice.
